Lafia Diocese Losses Fr. Gabriel Ugbenge

 

On behalf of the Catholic Diocese of Lafia, the Most Rev. Dr. Matthew Ishaya Audu, wish to announce the sudden demise of one of her beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ugbenge, working in the Catholic Diocese of Lafia, whose departure from this earthly dweling took place on 9th April, 2013 at Clear Clinic Digital Hospital,, Abuja.

Fr. Gabriel Ugbenge was born in C. 1973. He was very Docile, humble, competent, responsive, zealous for souls and amiable. By virture of his priestly ordination dated 5th July 2008, he was incardinated in the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi and belonging to his home parish of St. Paul, Ikyogen in Benue State. He was assigned on mission to work in the Catholic Diocese of Lafia and served as Assistant Priest in St. John's Parish Agyaragu and St. Aloysius Parish Doma. he was apppointed the Parish Priest of St. John Quasi Parish, Awe.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Body leaves OLA Hospital, Akwanga Monday 15th April 2013 by 10am

Body arrives St. William's Cathedral, Lafia 12: 00 Noon for Requiem Mass

Christian Wake-keep: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makurdi Mon 15th April 2013.

FUNERAL MASS: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makurdi, Tues. 16th April, 2013.

Interment: Diocesan Clergy Cemetery: Our Lady of Perpetual Hlep Cathedral, Makurdi, immediately After mass.

May the Soul of Fr. Gabriel Ugbenge and the Souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
