WHAT WE DO
The diocese cover a total land mark of about 28,000square kilometers, with an estimated population of about 2,523,400+ and approximately 30 tribes of Nasarawa State. The Diocese have 248,600+ Catholic faithful.
Aside the sole responsibility of the Diocese to spread and teach the Catholic Doctrines within its territory, the Diocese render services to the people within the under listed areas.
DEANERIES AND PARISHES
In other to meet the spiritual needs of all those within its territory, the Diocese is broken down into 7 Deaneries of 44 Parishes and 8 Chaplaincies. with the Cathedral sitting at Lafia Nasarawa State Capital.
EDUCATION AND HEALTH
As a way to effectively care for the body and minds of her faithful, the Diocese have established 4 hospitals and Clinics. The Diocese also established 44 Nursery and Primary School and 10 Secondary schools spread across her territory.
COMMISSIONS
The Diocese adjudicate her affairs under 19 Commissions. These Commissions have contributed greatly to the way the Diocese meet the demands of her faithful.
LAY ASSOCIATIONS AND SOCIETIES
As a way of encouraging the laities to actively participate and take ownership of the Diocese, the Diocese have created 25 Lay Associations and Societies. These Associations are domesticated in all the parishes across the Diocese and have given lay faithfuls to actively take care of the Church.
